John F. Maher, the new President and Publisher of RGJ Media, is this month’s Power Lunch keynote speaker. Maher will discuss the evolution of newspaper, and the Reno Gazette Journal in particular, into a truly integrated news media resource. John Maher was named President of RGJ Media (a division of Gannett Co., Inc.) and Publisher of the Reno Gazette-Journal in April, 2011. In this role, John is responsible for Gannett’s operations in Northern Nevada, managing a portfolio of products which includes the Reno Gazette-Journal, RGJ.com, Cars.com, Homefinder.com, Apartments.com, Reno Magazine, and Deal Chicken. John also has oversight responsibility for Gannett’s media operations in Dayton, Fernley and Mason Valley.
