Position: Digital Account Planner

Status: full-time

Responsibilities:

  • Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience
  • Assist Account Executives in prospecting by identifying day business development opportunities specifically utilizing Spectrum Reach’s suite of digital products
  • Develop positive relationships with both internal and external clients, vendors, and in the community
  • Work closely with Account Executive in understanding the advertising needs of the clients and in creating a products and services proposal that ensures the overall advertising needs are met
  • Maximize work flow by matching existing and new products based on current customer and potential client needs
  • Collect, prepare, interpret and analyze research data reports (i.e. impression rates) and incorporate into presentations and summary reports
  • Prepare sales proposals to include advertisement layout, script, proposed fee schedule, time frame for completion and other related requirements
  • Drive account strategy for retaining clients and positioning new business
  • Manage CRM (client relations management tool) output by interpreting entered information to develop additional solutions for client needs
  • Utilize customer relationship management tools to log communication and account development
  • Review reports and results with the client, conduct technical analysis and make recommendations for optimizing performance, maximizing opportunities for upsells
  • Conduct account planning and determine methods for increasing average sale among clients
  • Responsible for client communications, conflict resolution, and compliance on client deliverables and revenue. Reviews all major deliverables to ensure quality standards and client expectations are met.
  • Ensures that client issues are dealt with in an efficient manner
  • Reviews and monitors the contract and contract renewals for new work for an existing client.
  • Ensures that all processes and procedures are completed, quality standards are met, and that projects are profitable
  • Shares responsibility for driving an increase in revenue per client
  • Ensures campaigns are executed in a timely fashion and are pacing correctly
  • Direct vendors to assist in fulfilling any orders and manage any campaign challenges

Requirements: REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Ability to meet and work within strict deadlines
  • Ability to communicate orally and in writing in a clear and straightforward manner
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks
  • Ability to listen and interpret the needs of the customer
  • Ability to prioritize and organize effectively
  • Expert in designing solutions for the needs of clients and prospects of all media products
  • Knowledge of basic advertising principles
  • Knowledge of professional selling skills
  • Knowledge of cable television and internet/on-line products and services
  • Knowledge of Media traffic/inventory yield management
  • Knowledge of marketing research (i.e. Nielsen Research)
  • Knowledge of personal computer operation and software applications (i.e. cable billing system, Microsoft Office)
  • Proficiency with CRM System preferred

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising or related field, or equivalent experience
Certifications and/or Licenses: Valid driver´s license, satisfactory driving record within Company required standards, and auto insurance

Related Work Experience:
Sales or sales-related experience to include: 4+ years
Media industry experience: 2+ years
